It’s just such a tease that we never find out what was inside the Time Suspension Shield. An artifact? A person? Trias? A spellbook, sword, or Antikythera device? Did Oliver ever think one up? Was it all a tease? Was it to be revealed in a sequel? There’s no known clue. No acronym, no panel overlay, no mathematical diagram connected with the answer of Eldor’s missing reason. Well, if there was it sure flew over my head.

But yeah … we are given the Gaia lies, mostly complete. We are given what Eldor believes, incomplete. We never get the real answers. What Gaia really did. We don’t know what happened to Dwarves. We don’t know what would be result of whatever Eldor planned. There are lot of missing threads on end of Gaia. Enough for sequel, but I don’t think any is planned.
Interesting how Eldor says “us” in panel 4 now. In the old version and the German version, he says “me”.
