The only reason they can’t see the rest of the observable world burning down is the the half-wall is higher then the streets. This has more of a “let us die with a smile on our lips and a song in our heart” vibe than it does “we’ve rescued the princess.” You’d think the dead body of Eldor would have gotten some more interest than the no-interest this shows.

Viviana tried quite hard to penetrate the shield, and Lilith just did too. Ilias and his ally are also working on it from the outside. If they’re stuck for a way forward, take a break. It is to no-one’s advantage to just thrash. (as Viviana has already demonstrated)
Sometimes, the best thing to do, especially with someone who just woke up from being unconcious, is to take a minute to breath, rest, and recover. Probably doubly so when that someone is an archmage who is actually supposed to be dead. Regardless of how much power she currently has, chances are she is the one who has the best shot at explaining the magical stuff going on. Might be able to walk Ilias and the rest through how to deal with the shield, too.
