A Sky Full of Stars 031

  • Silvana Mirkning: Incredible. <tube> Did you ever go to school, Scarlet?
  • Scarlet: No. Well, yes. For one week.
  • Tibor: Let’s not talk about it.
  • Scarlet: There was this bully who badgered a smaller boy, so I took a chair and--
  • Tibor: What did I just say?!
  • Silvana Mirkning: When I worked as a teacher in Oris, every second father claimed his child was a little genius. And it was always nonsense!
  • Silvana Mirkning: No rule without exception…
  • Silvana Mirkning: I could write a letter to the Ministry of Economy and ask for your inclusion in the royal program for gifted children.
  • Scarlet: That would be awesome!
  • Scarlet: I may even find someone who believes me at the royal court!

  1. BlackDragonSlayer

Scarlet’s on her path to becoming a *government worker*. 😛

    1. Well, technically, yes, and anyone who would try to ask too many details about what exactly she’s doing for government will be visited by her former classmates in black suits and sunglasses.

  2. Is that some kind of magic behind her head in the last panel? Or maybe just an effect to show how happy she is. 😅

    1. It’s the natural result of hair that shiny.

  3. if a genius think that a chair is the solution to a bully,, who am i to question…

    1. Well, I guess it’s lucky she didn’t have her gun, which she knows how to use. 😁

    2. No, she’s right. The proper application of force is needed in some circumstances. You cannot whisper a nail into wood, you hammer it. And some people’s heads are hard enough to need similar methods to insert information.

    3. Not that hitting people with chair is fair, but she’s still a child. That means she’s emotionally immature and has a right to act like a kid. Then the’s fact she was robbed and her parents were killed in front of her. I guess her violence scale is slightly different. From the other side- people of an exceptional intellect often lacks in some other departments and that also often happens to be empathy: if solution works- it works.

  4. Actually you know what, the attraction I’m feeling for Silvana is probably more genvy than anything. She’s kinda landing right in my transition goals

  5. So, he asks innocently anticipating episodes yet to come, what becomes of these kids in “the royal program for gifted children” once they grow up?

    1. You don’t have security clearance to know the answer. In fact, it’s good you ask innocently, because otherwise you might disappear.

  6. Nanu, war der letzte Satz im Transscript schon immer deutsch?
