- Ye Thuza: Bedtime, Yuna.
- Yuna: No, mommy, don’t come in! I’m… uhh… doing what you and daddy did last week when I wasn’t allowed to come into your bedroom!
- Yuna: MOMMY, NO!!
- Ye Thuza: Yuna!! What the hell?!
- Ye Thuza: Why are there two climate zones in your bedroom?!
- Yuna: It was an accident, mommy, an accident! I didn’t mean to reverse entropy in my room!

Yuna’s scary some times.
And Zootopia still following..
Asimov reference?
Khazgar wrote:
Definitely a reference to Asomov’s “The Last Question.” Still one of the best short stories ever written.
Mad Science is Best Science
One of the rare instances where the truth is more ridiculous than the cover-up.
…
I think Yuna really don’t know what her parents were doing that night last week.
P.S.: Nice MLP reference.
Kids, am I right? Can’t do a thing with ’em.
That deadpan look on Ye Thuza though absolutely beautiful

She went in anyway. Parents can be such hypocrites. Yuna won’t listen next time.
Strange. Yuna certainly doesn’t look 10 trillion+ years old.
@ Pony-kour:
Ye Thuza is respecting Yuna’s privacy by knocking but asserting her authority as a parent by coming in anyway.
Ye Thuza’s reaction is priceless. Though the actual reason is funnier for some reason.
LOL! I was flailing my arms around because i was overwhelmed by humor, because I am a freak. And i literally got a bloody nose! What is this? Anime?
@ ArcaneDarkness:
What My Little Pony reference?
Sounds like they’ll have to get Larisa in, or, failing that, have Landon process through the place reciting the second law of thermodynamics.
I’m sure Yuna will be suitably embarrassed in later years when she realises what her parents were probably doing in their room… I certainly doubt that they were using the spanner like that!
If Asimov’s robots ever got involved, they would have to develop an 0.5th Law of Robotics: “A robot shall not assist or enable Yuna to harm the universe, nor through inaction allow such harm.”
>:=)>
#first world problems ;D this happened last week for me
@ myth buster:
Twilight Sparkle on the door to Yuna’s room.
Tsk. Every parent knows that if you let them get away with reversing entropy, it’s a slippery slope to reversing the arrow of time just to make sure they can get their homework done – and what does that bode as regards the discharge of your duty as disciplinarian?

I like how Ye Thuza is more concerned that Yuna is doing weird science stuff that she is doing sex stuff. The kids will turn out fine. Well, maybe only Cloud…
@ Khazgar:
It better be.

@ 1oldbear:
Where’s the spoiler alert? Now I’ve wasted posting a link to it!!!
@ DJMouthwash:
So as long as you ask then a kid’s privacy is void? Do you WANT to see your kids do THAT?
There is as yet insufficient data to provide a meaningful comment.
@ Ajedi32:
That’s not really a reference. More a small cameo appearance.
SAVE THE FISH!
@ WizardOfIz:
A cameo of a character from a different fictional universe is a type of reference.

Parents have authority over their children while children do not have authority over their parents. As such, parents can demand that their children stay out while their children can only request that their parents do the same. A child giving off clues that something isn’t right is a good reason to deny that request.
When the worlds of Fantasy and Science get too close…
young girls conjuring Maxwell’s Demon? What’s next?
@ Sarusig:
They we’re quoting an episode of Fairly Odd Parents. It was a running gag were a parent would knock, saying, “I’m respecting your privacy by knocking but asserting my authority as a parent by coming in anyway.” and precede to knock down a door with a battering ram that looked like a column with a handle and a ram’s head on the front (a visual pun).
When Cloud goes to retake Burma, he will be riding aboard the capital ship of a fleet of flying superweapons designed and built by Yuna.
He may or may not accidentally conquer several major world powers on his way there due to Yuna test-firing new weapons systems en route.
.
Instead of being mad, Ye Thuza should be happy. Accident or not, Whatever Yuna did could make them all very rich. Just patent that thing ASAP.
That device is small, so it must be either battery operated or a result of her cold fusion experiments. (I don’t see a power cord.) Think about it: She’s heating one side to over a hundred degrees and the other is below freezing. They could produce a line of industrial freezers and also a line of commercial heating and air units… that require virtually no power!
How the Hell did she get the shadowed and sunny climates of Canada Inside?!

If you had a kid at around the age of 10 who claimed they were doing that, would you not bust in to stop it? Or would you just let your underaged child continue doing the deed? Bad parenting much?
@ Xezlec:
How so? Did he say the blood nose came from looking at Yuna? Is Yuna the only character visible? Perhaps they got a blood nose from enjoying the sight of the teddy bear? Or maybe it was the fish? Could even have been Ye Thuza, so no it does not make them a pedo just means they had a blood nose for finding something arousing.
@ Lookfar:
Heck, of all his works, Asimov said that The Last Question was his favorite!
Yes, The Last Question, but the way entropy was reverted was quite different…
@ 1oldbear:
Hey! It’s a very old story but not many people know it, so that’s a little spoiler-y.
@ Iron Ed:
Amen brother (or sister)
Should that fish not already be cooked?
@ xpacetrue:
I see 3 power cords leading of somewhere.
@ Francisco:
That should be “leading off”.
This one is perfect.
I want more of yuna doing crazy science stuff.
now on reading this again, i remember that c&h comic where he says, “ALIENS! it wasn’t me mommy, it was aliens!”
@ Pony-kour:
Well, she didn’t listen last time, sooo…
LOL, Yuuna can practically restart Creation of the universe, yet she still hasn’t figured out human reproduction. I wonder why… come to think of it, I’ve never seen Larisa and Yuna together.
Anyway, fantastic strip, love Ye Thuza’s look in second panel, as well as the asimov reference. Though I still wonder what is the reversal of entropy have to do with the 2 climates in her room.
My answers concerning entropy:
Biblical answer:
The universe won’t last that long.
Not-straight-from-the-Bible answer:
Miracles are acts that reduce entropy.
Fiction answer:
The definition of magic is a process that decreases entropy; that is, entropy is the “energy” burned in a magic process. (Another thing I find funny: fiction me has a mastery over heat magic and thus could, with a massive power boost, actually produce Yuna’s result directly.)
@ Andy Wong:
Entropy is basically everything coming to an average. If Yuna moved all the heat energy to one side of her room, that would be reversing entropy. For a practical example, look at this mechanism. Yuna basically did the opposite.
