Fox news is biased and propagandistic? Agreed.
The other network newscasts are also biased and propagandistic? Agreed.
The others are biased too, but big bad Fox is the worst! Sorry, not buying that. They’re all just as bad as each other, just in different ways. They all report on stupid bullshit and bury real stories, and I don’t really care whose bull is stupider than whose. Different flavours, more or less stupid – it doesn’t really matter. Arguing about such things is simply a distraction from how superficial the differences between them really are.
Looking for consensus is fine in theory, but as I said the big news stations have enough biases in common that one must seek out lots of smaller sources rather than just looking for the things that the big ones agree on.
