- Woo: Either that or she has a doppelgänger who can’t even climb a cherry tree.
- Lily: The 60,000 spectators will have to brace themselves for a big letdown tomorrow…
- Woo: Darn! We have to help her!
- Lily: But how?
- Woo: In times like these I always remember Sandra’s words.
- Lily: And what would those be?
- Woo: “The outcome justifies even the biggest lie!”

If the eagle nabs her hungrily while she’s climbing and drops her at almost the top does it still count?
Man I would hate to be her right now.

I was going to suggest that Butterfly only knows how to climb rocks, and trees have an altogether different surface.

unless that’s her shadow in the second panel she may not even be a raccoon. perhaps that’s just black paint.
With Woo saying Sandra says that, I expect her sometime in the near to find a way to use that to make Cloud marry her ASAP.
But which lie is it? Are they going to tell her a lie to psych her into it? Or is Woo going to lie and pretend to be her? Is he anywhere near her skillz though? And what about other possibilities? Are they going to lie to the audience to get her off the hook? So many possibilities!
You know a strip is awesome when it has “doppelgänger” spelt with the umlaut.

Actually, it’s established all the way back in [510] on first mention of her. But it was in Novil’s comment/footnote that he leaves on some of them (if one actually takes the time to read them):
Novil: “That’s not the last time you have seen Butterfly. She will be the star of the second longest Sandra and Woo story arc that will be published later this year.”

Come To think about it this Comic is pretty long. However as a comic creator myself I understand how long and hard it can be especially if He’s just going off ideas on the top of his head like I do. But I think this is all intentional The heart of the story didn’t even start yet.

Hey guys, I think I found my new motto!
Well, they could just tell her they were sent by the ‘Coon goddess. Since they are apparently known on sight as having contact with her, it might be enough to get her up the wall. Of course, there would be Consequences, but they might involve cake, because I think She-whose-name-I-forget might be amused at the balls to do so.
The outcome justifies the deed… as long as one keeps in mind that “the outcome” includes ALL consequences of said deed, and not just the ones immediately convenient.
Lol, Butterfly has cold feet. Literally.
