On the one hand, having two separate panels 4 and 5 seems to slow down the action. On the other hand, I don’t see how they could have been merged.
Also: Rosebud was the name of his sled!
There is an interesting Kickstarter project of a guy who wants to publish a book containing the first published strip/page of each participating webcomic.

Yes, Woo, we already know that Lilith is a time traveller. We figured that out awhile ago.
Is Lilith the main character of Gaia? I never really got into it but maybe now I will knowing that somethings up with this Lilith. Also spring has finally come to Ohio. Now watch as it will become a 90° summer in like two weeks.
My guess is that Lilith (from the Gaia comic) is the physical embodiment of Gaia
Time will tell whether or not my guess is even close, and I’m happy to wait and see. 🙂

(…actually, it genuinely did take me a second to realize you meant your own Lilith, probably just due to always seeing her called “Lili.”)
Put panels 4 and 6 together, separated by a jagged panel edge. Use panel 5 as a small insert panel, like a square overlayed across the jagged edge. Also, have Woo’s speech bubbles merge, and the point where they’re interrupted is where you place it so that the panel edge connects it. Two speech bubble tails to panel 4 and 5’s Woos.
I don’t know the design terms for it, but it would definitely make it more action-y.

When I first read this page, I was thinking of Woo’s girlfriend, who is actually named Lily (silly me!), not Lilith. In which case, “pregnant” could definitely be an appropriate condition. If the correct conclusion was “dead”, I would expect Woo to be much more emotional about it.
