Not sure if it’s ‘out of character’ but rather ‘she’s discovering what her character is’ at least in new situations she’s not been involved with before.

I’m more surprised to the fact that Luna loves sports so much to be able to snap and spew those out-of-character words. I mean, you don’t get that angry over something that you didn’t really care, or something you just started liking.
I dated a girl who tried to hide that side of her. Wanted everyone to think she was a good, mild-mannered little angel. She didn’t like the grin I got whenever she let loose the beast.
Do American football refs really issue their adjudications by Twitter now?

I have a friend that is quiet as a church mouse unless it comes to sports and they get really fired up. Other wise they’re shy. They don’t even realize how worked up they get!

Hey guys call me out if I’m wrong (which I am) but is this really out of character I mean look at the only family of hers we have seen ( http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2015/01/19/0651-pride-and-prejudice/ ) is it not safe to assume that he was probably part of the gang against the white brotherhood ( http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2015/01/15/0650-white-brotherhood/ ) that ended up driving Luna and her dad out of town. So leaving like this probably grew her exactly into this character. So I would say this should actually be expected out of her expressly towards people that do her wrong (like the ref who tried to screw with the warriors). As a sidenote good god imagine him talking to her father xb freaking tattoos and the like oh gosh he is going to have a “fun” time!

And I just noticed where Luna’s right hand went in panel #3 and what Thomas is protecting in panel #4. Just perfect! No wonder the hotdog went flying!
I think “hot dog” should be added to the tags.
In a way Hooks from the police Academy-movies could also be a referens as she seem to be so timid and shy until you pisses her of. Also Bernadette from Big Bang Theory. 🙂

Luna can make even Larisa start her pants. I found my new favourite character.
Now you know. Don’t try cheating this one, or maybe you might disappear. Hell hath no fury like woman scorned.
And thats why u should never take girls to a sports game, u never know what they will explode up against….
Still, i would’t have thought Luna would be agressive.
Then again, the shy ones always have some darkness bottled up inside of them.
Don’t forget, Luna spent a lot of time with Larissa lately. And since she is in their school also relatively lot of time with all the others too. She had to learn something during all that time.

Kinda agree with killerskullcat here. I mean, did everyone forget what kind of neighborhood she grew up in? Not sure you can live like that without getting a tough bone in you somewhere, even if you take it for granted. Sports seems to trigger her though, so if I were Thomas I’d learn her favorite teams pronto so to never root for the wrong team.

Man, referees get way worse than some little girl threatening to rip their balls off. The sudden reversal of the call was kind of distracting to me, because of how unnecessary it was to have that happen. I kind of feel like this is a “Less is more” kind of situation.
Ah sports. Even quiet people can get riled up by them. Everyone’s got something that can rile them up and make them lose their temper, and for some of ’em, it’s sports.
But did she get her snack or not? The world must know!
