- Larisa: It’s really embarrassing how Sandra’s lying on the springboard like that.
- Cloud: Extremely.
- Larisa: As her best friends, we can only do one thing in such a situation.
- Cloud and Larisa: HA HA HA HA HA
- Sandra: That’s not helpful!!

With these friends, who needs enemies?
Cloud… It is important to remember, that sometimes a boyfriend has to act differently, than he would, if he was just a friend. 😛
I’m fairly certain, laughing at your girlfriend in public is a near certain way to end up in the doghouse for a long time.
@ Wolfhowl:
And we’ve already seen at least 3 occasions when she’s shown Cloud her displeasure. She even contemplated cooking Woo.
The ones I remember with Cloud:
After Woo pee’d on her, she got a sword and scared Cloud.
A little later, we see Cloud receiving spam.
Then there was that time when she was DM.
Maybe the vibrations from the laughter will resonate and cause her to precess along the diving board. Or more likely, they will humiliate and cause her to regret going on the diving board.
Sandra: Or… they will aggravate, alienate, and make me hate my so-called friends… while clinging to this diving board. D-X Who out there can help me in my hour of need?
Ghost of Erwin Rommel: *manifests* Well… I didn’t do so well the last time I attempted to get a reluctant young person to jump from a diving board… but, as always, I am confident, and will surely do better this time!
>:=)>
Only best friends are allowed to laugh at your misfortune.
They’re stealing Zoey’s job!
Sandra has really nice friends.
Mine would have sawn off the board and let me fall… and then laugh.
Just kidding, I’m a shut in geek, I don’t have any friends :p
Hyena friends are always there!
“We will always be the best of friends. You know too much.”
It is if it gets her mad enough to dive down there and unleash hell.
Okay little girl, now’s your chance to push her off
Welp, Cloud is sure not getting any cuddles today that’s for sure.
A good friend would go up there and help Sandra down. A BEST friend would laugh just like Cloud and Larisa are doing.
@ Greenwood Goat:
Greenwood, I could totally see Sandra shoot back at Rommel’s ghost with: “What would a Desert Fox know about a diving board anyhow?!”

Its an honor to have many enemies…
I loved three musketeers scene in one movie where D’Arthagnan proclaims its an honor to have enemy like cardinal De’Richelieu…
@ Frank:
Looks like she’s already given up in disgust.
@ Vicente Jerez:
Not any more, anyway.
@ Paeris Kiran:
With some people, you’re definitely doing something wrong if they’re not your enemy.

Funny… I have always been in favour of the cardinal. (Loved how Peter Capaldi nailed him in the series) lost appeal to me when he left for Tardis.
How realistic can you get?
But beware the vengeance of Sandra the First, Empress of Northia!!
It may not be helpful, but it’s necessary.
That’s what true friends do! Heck, I’d do the same! LOL
@ Raptorman76:
This made me lol.
Of course they laugh, else the panic attack will seem to be an over reaction!
If your friends are laughing then at least you not making a fool of your self over nothing!
Peer pressure to overcome fears is a great motivator.
Ah, how often the laughter of friends has spurred the timeless declaration, “Oh, yeah? Hold my beer and watch this!” 🙂
I have sympathy for Sandra, having been in the same situation at that age. (I ended up landing feet-first and feeling very … clean … afterward. Fortunately I was wearing a one-piece, so all wardrobe components stayed in place.)
In my case, the line behind me on the ladder was so crowded that jumping off was the only practical way down, and my friends (if they had been there) wouldn’t have been able to get up there to help me (or to saw off the board).
re the title… “Forever” could be very short.”
(“fornever” ==>> “forever”) 🙂
Well, at least Sandra doesn’t have two older brothers to pry her loose from the board and heave her into the pool and then laugh at the permanent psychological trauma that would follow her into her fifties.
What personal issues? I’m not projecting personal issues.
No, you can do TWO things. In order. Obviously, you got the first one right. Now climb up there and toss her overboard.
“Little Girl” walking away fuming in panel 1 – I missed her the first time!
