My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Lettering things that are bent, like the newspaper in the fifth panel, is always a gigantic pain in the ass and usually doesn’t even look completely right in the end. I always asked Powree not to bend things that need to be lettered, but she didn’t always listen to me… More generally, I sometimes hated myself for writing so many pages that made it necessary to spend ages on lettering certain parts. While I may have sometimes tortured Powree with my requests, I also tortured myself often enough.

non spoiler fun fact for people experiencing the story for the first time: originally, Ilias’s disguise had a scruffy little mustache. I think Novil removed it within a day of the page going live
Subtle change to the masthead between the 3rd and 4th of Flowerall.
So one day the newspaper is shaming a rival paper for publishing a forged “confession” by the Shadowdancers as Cania troups are moving in… the next day the Shadowdancer threat is absolutely real, they publish a mocking letter that “experts” assert is real, and change their masthead to one acknowledging Ileasaar as part of Cania. Whatever could have happened between day 3 and day 4…?
And I though there are already plugins for bending paper with text written on it …

You ask what happened that changed the masthead from “The Old Kingdom” to “Cania’s province of Ileasaar”? Did you noticed the title “Canian army marches to Greendew”? Apparently, someone from that army stopped the march in office of that newspaper.
