My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:I didn’t have a clear idea what the ghosts should look like. I’m not entirely happy with their final design. It’s adequate, but I believe it could have been better with the right idea.

I think the ghosts are alright. If they were too ghost-like they wouldn’t be able to build their explainable machine. We never find out what the blue men are doing, do we? Building or disassembling? A shuttlecraft or a transporter platform? A mole machine or a satellite dish? Some sort of metal dome tent? Where did they get the parts, the metal, the metal smithy, the plans?
The ghosts remind me of the refracted humanoid plants in the movie Annihilation.
