Very likely. In the museum, there was this mechanical carriage who had various problems preventing widespread use and that one looks very different from this one. We can also assume that the current civilization can make mechanical screwdrivers as Tibor used one before breaking his leg. However, the power required to make a vehicle able to transport a considerable weight is far greater of what’s needed for a mechanical screwdriver, so the main problem is probably power.

Considering what Scarlet said earlier, if the thieves are successful and the mine cannot maintain operation due to food shortage, the thieves may actually end up with less food in the long run than had they left things be. Anyway, Tibor should not be far away from the storage.

An operation like this wouldn’t be stealing food for the needy. they’re stealing it to sell at inflated black market prices with no overhead. This has exploitative crime written all over it.
It’s like those assholes who steal formula to the point where stores can’t stock it then sell to mothers who can’t find any (Because it was stolen). Sickens my stomach.

I hope Scarlet is capable of killing, because Tibor asked her to keep an eye on the two spotted scoundrels. It’s a very bad idea to hold someone at gunpoint if you’re not capable of pulling the trigger. She may get away with bluffing though, the thieves are likely desperate fools rather than hardened criminals.
