ZOEY!!
How have you been?
Love the expression!
Sandra sure takes her roleplaying seriously.
And I agree with MDL, this is par for the course.
I think i would do something similar if someone gave me a flyer with her own face on it saying she’s missing…
or i would just smack them in the face to see if they would wake up..
I see what you did there.
And thus Sandra embarks on the quest to find herself
“Yeah, I seen this girl. But my memory ain’t so good, flatfoot. Ice cream tends to bring it back, and…oh look, there’s a shop right there!”.
How can Sandra still be twelve?? She was 12 at the start of the comics, and since already 873 episodes passed, even if there was one each day, 2 years should have passed. Sandra logic.
Moe became the face of Bullies Anonymous? I guess he finally turned himself around, after all!
12?
Yeah, no. She’s more like 14 or thereabouts. I think the author’s somehow hasn’t noticed he’s been growing her up considerably since her first appearances (when she actually looked as if she was 11 or 12). And not just in appearance, in her relationship neither she nor anyone else behaves like she’s 12 either.
@ Aris Katsaris:
I’m sure he has noticed. The age of the characters is probably tone of the most frequently asked questions here.
At least she trying…
Oh my god the poster is moe from Calvin and Hobbes that is the best touch I have ever seen in anything ever
I’m also surprised that Sandra should still be 12. But maybe she’s nearly 13. And that makes around two years time for growing, since she was 11 at the start, right?
That’s somehow possible.
More possible than the weird self searching role play, I think. 😉

It could be interesting if that were to happen. ^_^
But let’s just wait and see…..
“Breathtakingly beautiful” unless you’re gay like me. C:
I would wonder how she even managed to get away from her father quickly enough for the “vanishing” effect. But I don’t, because I know this isn’t the most farfetched or implausible thing we’ve seen on this comic.
Also, I love how the icon for bullies is Moe from C&H.

That…. suddenly makes this arc much deeper and less silly than it did at first.

Really? You’re questioning the plausibility of the age of a comic strip character?
Garfield has been going for 38 years as a daily strip and cats only live around 20 years…
Temporal logic doesn’t apply to comic characters. Sandra can be 12 for the next decade if the author chooses and it would still make as much sense as a talking raccoon.
I’m late for the party but at least the bullies are trying to improve themselves or are they trying to improve their bullying techniques…hmm?
But she’s making the call right in Sandra’s face. The bullying of non bullying.
Two women walk into a bar and talk about the Bechdel test.
We have many discussions between girls that are not about men, but AFAIR
no conversations between women at all.
