… had a bogey on the last hole.
- Ye Thuza: Millions in the Western world have given their life in the fight for freedom. And now their children use it to elect sleazy politicians who take it away again for the stupidest reasons imaginable.
- Ye Thuza: What’s the point of a plasma TV when there’s only government propaganda on every channel?
- Cloud: The words of a true revolutionary…
- Cloud: … who, though, would be even more credible if she weren’t playing golf with sheriff O’Sullivan at the same time.
- Ye Thuza: Nothing is more satisfying than beating a cop.
- Nigel O’Sullivan: I’m 2 up, right?
A decent person can be a police officer, but there is no such thing as a decent police officer.
The job role itself is the very essence of evil, and the more a person gives themselves over to the role, the less of a person they become.
Oh, and on the propaganda thing… all media is riddled with it.
I’m not really seeing the problem with her being friends with the Sheriff either. I mean, if you think local government can hold a candle to Washington when it comes to corruption…
The wiser of the founding fathers opposed the idea of political parties, and looking at the duopoly that our two political parties have, it’s no surprise as to why. It’s often not the wisest, smartest people who rule, but the wealthiest, well-connected people.
Both parties make an equal amount of mistakes, but nobody is able to truly fix the problem. I actually think that one of the main problems with the system is that the people in power see the other side as their enemy. In an ideal system, I’d think that liberals and conservatives would serve as strategists and tacticians (respectively) if you look at the definition of those terms. Some politicians coming up with a lot of ideas, and other politicians picking and choosing the finer details of those ideas to choose the ones that can work.
Instead, they bicker, bicker, and bicker, and the two sides that are allegedly different are in fact basically the same. 🙁
